Project 1
My inspration was Avenged Sevenfold for this project. They have really crazy drum fills and thats what I wanted in my project. Of cours my drum fill isn't as crazy as theres are but its sort of intense. For the beats I used the basic kick for both beats and also the fls-hatpd 04 for both beats. Both beats are similar but what makes them different is the tambourine. Another thing that is different is the kicks are different at the end.

I don't hear an Avenged Sevenfold influence here. This isn't heavy or intense enough.
ReplyDeleteIt is however, good drum programming. You have clearly defined the downbeat in both patterns.
I would like to hear more contrast. Your two patterns are almost identical. I get the addition of the tambourine, but that by itself doesn't qualify as a variation- especially since the tambourine only plays a steady pattern.
